Teresa is a lifelong supporter of Pell City. She is married to Bobby Carden, has 2 children and a new granddaughter, Lillieanna. Teresa was born in Pell City and has lived in Pell City 40 years. She is a graduate of Pell City High School Class of 1980 and her professional background is in multiple financial areas, primarily insurance and residential finance. She is presently a mortgage loan officer with Classic Home Mortgage, Inc.
Teresa supports Pell City through multiple organizations. She is an Alumna of Pell City Leadership and St. Clair County Leadership. She leads Grief Share at Eden Westside Baptist Church. Other groups of interest and support are the American Cancer Society, St. Clair Realtors Association, St. Clair County Home Builder’s, Anne’s New Life Center, Pell City Business and Professional Women and many others. As a past president for Pell City Business and Professional Women, Teresa has been instrumental in raising dollars for scholarships for young local ladies. Fundraising and Event Coordinating are two side areas of expertise for Teresa.
To unwind and relax, Teresa loves days with her new granddaughter and all of her family. She enjoys pool days and Logan Martin Lake days with family and friends. Her love for music and live performances are satisfied at our local Center for Education and Performing Arts. She also entertains at many local venues as a soloist or with the vintage rock n’ roll band, The Wingnuts. The Wingnuts perform at many local charity events offering a variety of music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Their most recent charity event was “Run Through the Jungle”, which benefitted the St. Clair County Veterans Resources.
